Wat Phra Kaew & Grand Palace @ Bangkok, Thailand

The Wat Phra Kaew

Luckily we made it to this place on the same day, after visiting the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market & Samphran Elephant Ground & Zoo. Because the day was the worse date for Bangkok, will saw many MOP near the area protesting the Goverment! Our Taxi tour guide giving us 1 hour to visit, is not enough time for us to cover all the area.

Firstly, Men & Women mustn’t wear a short skirt or pants and also slippers are not allowed! But you can still rent the items at the entrance. The entrance fees are not cheap too, but it is worth for photography. Let’s have a look into the temple: Wat Phra Kaew

The Temples

The Wat Phra Kaew was the first major architectural complex to be built in Bangkok. Unlike the others temple in Bangkok, there is no monk live in here. Many textures & statues can be seen here, especially the demon guardian. “Golden” colors covered most of the building here, looks like real gold to me.

From the temple, go south into the compound of the Grand Palace, built by Rama I. The centrepiece is the majestic Chakri Maha Prasad(Grand Palace Hall) built in 1882, with three spires atop an Italianate building. There were a few royal guard standing on the gate entrance, you won’t like to disturb them right?

1st Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon (Night Glow)

Night Glow

I had just returned from Putrajaya regarding the above title. This was the first time event held in Malaysai. The fiesta started from 19th -22nd Mac, participants included from Australia, Belgium, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Oman, Philippines, Switzerland, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, United Kingdom and United States of America.

I went twice on Saturday, morning and afternoon sessions. The above picture was taken on the night, the show name is Night Glow. Many of the hot air balloon will set up inside the field, accelerate their fires to light up the balloon! It was beautiful, but difficult to take photos.

Sg. Lembing Panaroma Hill @ Pahang

We wake up on 3am, start our car on 4am. Takes about an hour time to reach Sg. Lembing, a small village located near the Kuantan. Driving in the dark on the earlier morning, it was cold & covered by the haze during the drive thru. After an hour drive, we reach the very very small village, then parked our car near the shops.

We found out a small problem, the public toilet is closed. Even the is in business hour, but the toilet closed too. So, we went to the housing area to “borrow” it. Haiz…

It was very dark on the 5am, we saw many visitors came, maybe is because of the public holiday. Then we start our “stairs” journey up to the hill! There are many stairs!! Some parts is high level too!!! Woah~ it really makes me to take sometimes by reaching top. I was soaking wet & tired, but remember don’t take too much of big breathe. Because the higher u reach, the thin air becomes.

Finally, I took almost 45mins(i think so) to reach on top, but i felt my breathe started to be more smoothy. The sun still sleeping behind the mountains, we can rest a while to cool down.

The best shots i taken was the 1st pic, in diffrent timing but i’d adjusted the appreature to F11. You may see the round shape with a cleared sky turning up to be more brighter! I love this one

The sky and land in a very beautiful combination. Many people taking photos, an aunty walked by told the girls: Here is the best place to take a “Marriage Needed” photos! Show your leng cai/leng lui to others!!

Haha… the girls all were laughing, i bet they are up to something liao. My very own leng cai photo is posted on a few days ago liao We had spend more time on top of the hill, i met Clive too. He was leading a group of photography members to here.

The Way down hill

On the way down, i found out this scenery is beautiful too! Going down is more easier, but pls plug your brake coz is still very wet. I can feel my legs were shaking while standing stood, i asked Snake Ming he said is normal lor, everyone is shaking because of tired & HUNGRY~~~

After we reach the bottom, we went to the morning market. Many local food stalls, we know the Taufu & Lembing Mee is popular local food. But we only manage to taste the mee, Taufu already sold out!

The taste was normal, not too bad. Cheap coz it only cost me RM3.50 with some meat balls! Haha…

Got some Offers from MATTA Fair 2009

MATTA Fair 2009 Promotions

Economic no good, but still can found many people wanted to go travel & even travel to overseas! Many of cheap and affordable packages can been found in this MATTA Fair 2009 every year located in PWTC, Kuala Lumpur. Damn crowded (=.=)

Friday, i went there after servicing my last client on 5pm in Jalan Ipoh. I stucked on the road for an hour, less move but stopped for long long time. Many cars are trying to enter to PWTC main road, luckily my friend advised me to take another road, park my car far far away.

P/s: My 1st time to MATTA Fair so far

So this fair i aim for 2 places: Taiwan & Tasik Kenyir (local one)

I’d book the airticket to Taiwan on 19th till 28th Sept, Malaysia Airlines. But the return time was on 7:45am! WTF!! Friday, the return ticket on 26th Sat & 27th Sunday still available. But i purchase it on the next day, both has SOLD OUT!! No choice but to take the next day is Monday, so i will stay in Taiwan for 9 days (=.=). WTH~

The Kenyir trip is with some friends, we found this “seems” to be a luxury place to stay: Lake Kenyir Resort & Spa. We book 3D2N on 1st of May, woot another short vacation happenings

I hope this year can travel or venture many places as i can, to release stress or having fun!

Upcoming Travel to Sg.Lembing

Hi, i just got back home on evening today. I’m now very tired & can feel my bones are starting to *crack*! Me & Snake Min had joined Lynn friends for the Sg.Lembing trip, too sad that she can’t make it due to need some rest after battle from sickness

This was the most unforgettable trip in my life, i’d spared all my rest time & energy on the trip to Sg. Lembing, especially it is my first time climbing the panaroma hill!

Today, i was so~~~ bored in home. Outside the weather is bad, all day raining, got nothing to do. I saw this 5 piece “cat” looking soft toys displayed on my shelf, cute & adorable! Special thanks to my dear for this great gift, a soft toys: Katz Village, The Five Tiger.

Cool’s pals disperse in the East, West, South and North of the world. Even though there is a fair distance away between the friends, their friendship was unbeatable! When they miss one another they would travel to Katz Village to have fun with Cool.
