Suan-Lum Night Bazaar, Bangkok.

From the Siam Central Station take the Silom lane till Sala Daeng, switch to MRT(Subway) from Si Lom to Lumpini. It takes about 15mins whole distance, here we are: Suan-Lum Night Bazaar

We are here!

The night after we had our dinner inside Siam Paragon, left not much time so we decided to go this night bazaar. Located near the Lumpini Park, many people were shopping inside this night bazaar. Of course the massage shops can be seen here everywhere! There is one shop we had bargain, only need to pay 200baht for food massage + shoulder massage in 1hr time ler!!

Very “Relaxing” isn’t it? haha…

Many things such as the art & crafts, souveniers, shirts & etc. They won’t show or label the price tag on the items, wait till you are interested then they will tell you how much it cost. But if you waren’t satisfy the offers, just prettend to go away or keep quiet, the sales person will shout out another price, and it is lower & lower… Haha! That is the trick!! God Luck to u :)

Picture of the Day!

Can Put your cute face on it

We shop & walk arround, nothing much to buy. I only bought a Tuk-Tuk made by Coke tin as show above pictures, it cost me 160baht (if not mistaken). The place was big untill we are getting hungry, while looking for some foods, let me show you some pictures, would you like to eat?

Variety Drinks

BBQ meatballs

So, will you choose to sit down and eat them? We did not take one of those, for safe we go to 7eleven buy some water & chips. We took the MRT from Lumpini station back to our hotel.

Khai Showing the Ticket

Actually we were tired of all the day, it is our first day in Bangkok! The best part haven’t started yet, we have to save more of our stamina for the coming days. Inside the station here is some funny pictures:

Guess who is that person (Soh Poh) playing in front of the camera? lol

My post end up here, next will bring you guys more pictures inside Bangkok town.

Started our Journey in Bangkok

The Tuk-Tuk Cars

We had took a rest in hotel about 1 hour then decided to walk outside, we plan go to nearest shopping centre. From our hotel, Asia Hotel just need 15mins to reach Siam Paragon. Here walk and taking few snaps shots on the streets of Bangkok city.

Group Photo

Actually, there is a bridge called Sky Walkway under the MRT, but is above the streets. The walkway is connected to every station of MRT, it is convenient for if you are planned not to take the BTS (Bangkok Mass Transit System). Their system is no doubt better than our local transit, the line is covered most of the shopping malls & loacated in the town centre. Maybe next post i will introduce more about the BTS.

The Traffics

The traffic jam is happening all the time in these popular shopping mall spots, there are many police man so call traffic police stand by side of the road. We walked pass through the MBK(Mah-boonkrong), Discovery Centre, Siam Centre & Siam Paragon. Below are the paper arts by Canon, it was huge and cute, all the girls like it!

Let’s Kiss ya~

Miao~ Miao~

We are lucky because there was a event held on outdoor between Siam Centre & Siam Paragon, Japn Festa in Bangkok 2008! The places was crowded and packed by many teenagers, many nice look cosplay & some shows on the stage. It is more we expected to be better than the last time i attended in local one :(

First Boarding… Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Bangkok, Thailand

31st August, it was our country independent day, but it was also out departure date to Bangkok, Thailand! It was a hard day too, it happens a day ago when we heard the news about the Bangkok town was unstable, three of the airport closed for flights. I was worried our trip might become a “Cook a Sup” liao! Haha… we still stick to our original plan, let’s go~

Anston, Jesse, Khai & Min Yan

Our flight time was 10:40am, we reach there in 8:30am, it was early too. I headed to the Notice Board and found out many cancel flights, especially the other three airport of Bangkok beeing closed! But the airport was so crowded, even the restaurants like Mc Donald is full. We had no choice but to choosen Coffee Bean to have our little breakfast.

Our Grand Breakfast!

Honestly, this was my first time travel with aeroplane ler. I’m a little bit kan cheong & nervous too. Here is some shots while we are boarding to our plane:

Our Plane

Inside the Airasia

I can still comfortable sitting inside the plane, 3 seats in a row, got lovely Thai babes serving you somemore. I was so addicted to the scene outside from the window. Beautiful, painted with blue pastel colors, and the clouds were so cute.

After we reached the Bangkok Internatioanal Airport, i’m not so surprise about their airport interior. We find our baggage & find the taxi can drive us to Asia Hotel in Bangkok. The charges is about 1,100Baht, i think is cheap also…

We arrived~

From the international Airport to our Asia Hotel is near actually, but we taken abt 30mins to reach. The traffic jam is bad in the town center. The hotel is old nearly 30 years old, but still it stands on the center of the city and is link with the local monorail station.

I’m Back from Thailand, Safe & Loud!

Sorry for my long day off from blogging, i’m away from Malaysia heading to Bangkok & Pattaya to enjoy my holidays! Yin Shan, Min Yan, Khai & me travel to Thailand from 31st August till 4th September 2008, 3 nights in Bangkok & 1 night in Pattaya. A whole week vacation :D

Yet we face with some street protest in Bangkok, and i’m very sorry of those friends & my parrents who really care about us for our situations, we are safe now. I’m also appologize to some friends they used to sms to me daily asking about the conditions, but i never replied sms to any of them. The street protest didn’t affected our trip actually, we did manage to visit most of the places as according to our previous plan. Plus many nice photos will be upload into my site!

I’m now considering to create another pages for my Thailand trip, will introduce more more nice events & activities we had over there. I’m using back my old camera Panasonic DMC-FZ50, because it is the lightest camera i got :P

Ok, please give me some times to update the articles, more more more travel updates coming soon! Good night…

A new day has come
