A Great Taste of the Local Taiwan Indias Dishes

Hualian 花蓮, located on the east cost of Taiwan land. Many of mountains can be seen along the roads and also the east cost seaside. A very beautiful place for recreational & relaxing, unlike living in a big city or town. We had book a local tour guide for our Hualian visit, 2D1N is cost about RM600 plus something. Before we depart to the most famous Taroko National Park, must fill up our stomach after a long long ride on the train.

So our Mr Tour Guide brought us to this local Taiwan Indias Restaurant. We only got 2pax for the meal, so we ordered 2 sets. Yes, i’d regret after making that decision, because the foods is TOO MUCH for us! Let’s see what we have here:

Mixed Vege & Fruits, i like the colors combination

Steamed Pork Meat, tasted “funny”

This is really the dish of my day, Char Siew!

The Rice & Yellow Rice

Vegetables

The foods are all cooked with Charcoal, not using any gas or electronic stuff. As i mentioned, this is a Indias Restaurant. Overall the taste was great, especially i like the so called “Char Siew”. This meal really makes me wanna go back to hotel stick on the bed, lazy to climb mountain. Haha~

Jesse & our dishes, part of it only :P

The Interior, simple & nice

Another Traditional Dance performed by the staff

After the great meal, we are ready to go our next places. Still very full ler~

I sense suspisious, but he said the place oso got many tourist and many things to shop around. Finally we said: OK lor~

Camwhore on the ride!

This is my first time sitting on Tuk-Tuk, the three wheels taxi car or motorbike! They also called Samlors, they are fun for short trips ride, please negotiate the fare before boarding.

The Driver

The Best Tuk-Tuk in town?!

We came to this place, a huge white building: GEM Production Co. LTD. Exporter, Wholesaler, All kind of Gems and Any Karat Gold Jewelry. Inside is the factory of the production, you can have a visit to see how the workers doing there. From a normal or ugly stone turned into beautiful and valuelable cyrstal rings & necklace.

One Night at Melacca Town

Actually it is my outstation trip staying one night at Melacca to attend my client grand openning day. It was a very short trip, i didn’t went or visit nice places, take many photos, somemore i’m damn tired of the day! Luckily, my auntie came fetch me from hotel to eat local food: Satay Celup,Restaurant Ban Le Xiang @ Jalan Ong Kim Wee. my very first time.

Satay Celup

1)Choose your favorite;
2)Put into the hot bowl of satay sources, peanuts & chilis;
3)Take it out after 60sec, dinner is served!

The Prawn

Firstly, i thought it was a sur-charge per pax, after i had taken all my lovely seafoods: Prawns! Always the best choice while having steamboat!! My uncle explained to me that the charges was count on the per stick, if the bottom of the stick coloured red, means RM 0.60. But, it is still cheap ler~ (I guess)

After the most hottest dinner, i tried to drive alone at Melacca town. It was silent coz is Monday mah, nothing special about it.

Maritime Museum

I had spotted this like kind of UFO, it was very interesting it goes up & down repeating. Still new, don’t have the name of this thing, the machanics were doing some demonstrations the time, attracted lots of people came.

New Stuffs

There has a passenger seats inside, it will spine to top! You may seen all the Melacca town night view, very nice & beautiful. Wonder when it opens? Haha…

A Fine Sunday…

Go back to the last Sunday, i’d visited Kenny house for CNY(No Ang Pow) for gathering. Me, Kok Wai, Tsi Ming & Fu Long reached there about 11am. Well, is been a long long time never came here and chat with Kenny liao! That day he brought us to a restaurant at Belakong, Cheras. Restaurant Che Guan, all kinds of chicken & duck rice dishes! So what we have here is …

Roasted Duck!!!

Geng ler? I was shocked too, the whole roasted duck is so huge! But lucky we had 5 persons here, and we also do ordered another plate Char Siew! The roasted duck is delecious, the skin is crispy, low fat meat. The Char Siew not to bad too, it looks very fat, but while you put into your mouth it meltz… Highly Recomended~

After the tons of meat we had, it is time for some drinks to fill up our thristy. Sake…

Sake, Sake, Sake!

My favorite for Sake, this bottle was bought at Japan! Says 2500yen?! Expensive too… I feel very comfortable after the first cup into my stomach, feels warm & funny i won’t drunk liao! Haha!!

(Sorry for my dear friend i had to Fonf Fei Kei, coz i was asleep after this bottle!)

Now here is some of the photos been taken inside some of the decorations:
